Ward 4 Byelection: Candidates Announced

On Feb. 23, residents living in Ward 4 of the City of St. John's will elect a new Councillor. Congratulations to the following candidates who have been successfully nominated;

Vote by Mail
 
The City will be using a vote by mail system for the upcoming byelection. Residents are encouraged to ensure they are registered to receive their vote by-mail kit by calling 311, or by checking the voter’s list on the City’s website.
 
Kits will be mailed on Friday, Feb. 5 and should be received by residents beginning Monday, Feb. 8.
 
Completed kits are to be returned by mail between Feb. 8 and 19 or alternatively residents can bring their completed kit to a drop box located outside the entrance of City Hall beginning Friday, Feb. 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
 
On Election Day
 
Vote by mail kits will not be available at City Hall on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
 
Residents can utilize the drop box at City Hall until 8 p.m. or the satellite drop-off centre at St. David’s Presbyterian Church, 98 Elizabeth Avenue from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
