The City of St. John's practice's water conservation at splash pads that use recirculated and retreated water.

To ensure wise water use and that water no one has been playing in isn't unnecessarily treated, the water features at City splash pads are set on a four-minute timer: they run for four minutes and then the water shuts off until the button to get the water flowing again is pushed.

Find City of St. John's splash pads at Bowring Park, Bannerman Park and Kenmount Terrace Park that are zero-depth accessible play areas where free aquatic play is available all summer long.

Splash pads are in operation from 9 a.m. to dusk every day; the last day of operation this summer is Labour Day on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021.
