Water Street Exploratory Work Continues

Motorists, residents, and businesses are advised that Water Street between Adelaide Street and Beck's Cove will be closed daily from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. for approximately one week starting this Sunday, July 19th at 11:00 p.m. All vehicular traffic will be detoured via Harbour Drive except emergency vehicles and metrobus.

A "No Parking - Tow Away" restriction will be in effect on both sides of Water Street between Adelaide Street and Beck's Cove from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily starting Sunday, July 19th at 11:00 pm. Some parking spaces on Adelaide Street, Beck's Cove, and Bishop's Cove will be included in this restriction. Bags will be placed over the affected parking meters earlier in the day to advise motorists of the overnight restriction. Vehicles parked in violation of the overnight restriction will be ticketed and/or towed.

The work on this section is expected to take one week. Updates will be issued as work progresses. The road closure and parking restrictions are necessary to facilitate this work, and the City apologizes for any inconvenience they may cause.
