Snow Routes
From December 1 to March 31 parking is prohibited 24 hours a day on streets designated as ‘No Parking Snow Route.’ These streets are marked with signs. Restrictions are in place so ice control and snow clearing equipment can safely service the streets.

Outside the Downtown and Business District
The winter On-Street Parking Restriction for streets outside the designated downtown area will come into effect at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021.

The restriction is in effect daily and tickets can be issued to vehicles parked on the street between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m., regardless of weather and street conditions. The restriction may be declared prior to January 6 if it is deemed necessary by the Deputy City Manager of Public Works.

New 24-Hours per day Parking Restriction
A new parking restriction for areas outside the Downtown and Business District will be declared as needed. The goal of the restriction is to remove vehicles from on-street parking to enhance the efficiency of snow clearing operations.
Once declared by the Deputy City Manager of Public Works the restriction will be in place for 24-hours a day until it is lifted. Advisories will be published on the City website to inform residents.

Downtown Snow Removal
For streets in the designated downtown area, on street parking is permitted, unless scheduled for snow removal as needed. Signs will be placed in snowbanks on the day of removal to indicate that overnight parking is prohibited.

NEW this year, the downtown snow removal takes place from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Vehicles must be removed from streets that are scheduled for removal during this time. To find out if your street is scheduled for overnight removal you can:
