Free Meditation Course
This is a free introductory meditation course offered to everybody in the local community.
Meditation helps to relax the body and quiet the restless mind. No prior experience is necessary.
When: Tuesday April 23 & 30, 7 - 8:30 p.m.
Where: St. John’s College Chapel, MUN, Prince Philip Drive (enter via west side door of university building behind chapel)
Basic meditation practices offered will include breathing, concentration, posture, visualization exercises, chanting and guided meditations. All of our Introductory courses lead to a free follow-up Intermediate meditation course for those who are interested to practice regularly.
The first Tuesday introduces concepts that are used on the second Tuesday, so we recommend attending both evenings.
Our courses are offered as a free community service by the Sri Chinmoy Meditation Centre of St. John’s.
