Free Weekend Meditation Workshop

This is a free introductory meditation workshop offered to everybody in the local community. Meditation helps to relax the body and quiet the restless mind. No prior experience is necessary.

When:  Saturday & Sunday, April 27 & 28, 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Where:  St. John’s College Chapel, MUN, Prince Philip Drive
    (Enter via West side door of university building behind chapel)

Basic meditation practices offered will include breathing, concentration, posture, visualization exercises, chanting and guided meditations. All of our Introductory workshops lead to a free follow-up Intermediate meditation course for those who are interested to practice regularly.

The Saturday introduces concepts that are used on the Sunday, so we recommend attending both afternoons.
