Terri will share her personal journey through life with lived experience of mental illness and a career as a social worker over the last 20 years. She turned her grief and struggles with mental illness into social activism.



Cost: $18 members / $22 non members / $20 Youth (under 25)

Biography - Terri has various experiences on different boards such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, CHANNAL and Planned Parenthood. She has worked with many government agencies and community organizations in the last 20 years including: community supports, child protection, The Aids committee of NL, Victim Services, community corrections as a probation officer with Mental Health court and family violence intervention court. Terri is currently signed up to be involved in the "It's Mental" campaign which was founded by the talented musician, Amelia Curran. She is an avid music fan and foodie. She has a passion for singing, loves animals and is the proud owner of a Boston Terrier name Ozzy.
