Closed - Major Parks

update Thursday, Sept. 16
Bannerman Park is open for public use as it has been cleared of debris and inspected for concerns. This includes the park, open space, playground, ball field and washrooms.

Bowring and Victoria Parks remain closed as debris removal and overhead concerns (broken branches that may fall) are ongoing. Equipment and crews are operating throughout the parks that remain closed work sites, with the exception of the tree debris drop off site in the large gravel west parking lot.

update Monday, Sept. 13
Bannerman Park, Victoria Park and Bowring Park remain closed until Saturday, Sept.18 at a minimum, as Parks staff continue to remove broken branches and trees that pose a hazard.

update Sunday, Sept. 12

Bannerman Park, Victoria Park and Bowring Park remain closed until futher notice, and at minimum Monday, Sept. 13 and Tuesday, Sept. 14 as Parks staff remove broken branches in trees that pose a hazard if they fall.
