Downtown Christmas Parade: Residents Encouraged to Park and Ride
Residents attending the parade are encouraged to take advantage of Metrobus Park and Ride. Starting at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29, Park and Ride will operate FREE of charge, from two locations;
- From Confederation Building parking lot, Prince Phillip Drive, drop off at Bannerman Road.
- From the NL Housing Building, 2 Canada Drive, drop off at Mile One Centre.
Return Shuttles will begin operating immediately following the parade.
GoBus users can book their ride by calling 368-8887, TTY 368-1620, by email gobus@mvtcanada.com or text, 765-5847. GoBus drop off and pick up location is on George Street. The accessible viewing area will be located at 354 Water Street and the designated parking area is located on George Street.
Due to the parade, please note the following parking restrictions and tow away zones, beginning at 8 a.m. on Sunday Nov.29 until 3 p.m.
