This is the City of St. John’s Summer Recreation Report updated on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013 at 7 a.m.
The swimming pool at the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre on Mundy Pond Road will be closed for maintenance until 12 noon today.
The Teakwood Park / Southlands Activity Centre will be held outside this morning at Teakwood Park.
All summer there are free Aqua Zumba Water fitness classes Thursday at 12 noon at the Bowring Park swimming pool.
Youth half day and full day courses like photography, cooking, kayaking and canoeing are fun and teach great skills. Call (709) 576-8630 for more information.
