Road Closures and Restrictions- Mews Memorial 8k Road Race

Motorists are advised that the Mews Memorial 8k Road Race will take place this Sunday starting at 7:00am and finishing by 9:00 am.  The route closures/lane reductions are as follows:

Mundy Pond Road
7:30 AM – 8:05 AM: St. Teresa’s School to Ropewalk Lane – Both Directions
8:05 AM – 8:30 AM: Blackler Avenue to Ropewalk Lane – Eastbound Lane
 
Campbell Avenue – westbound, west of Cashin
7:55 AM – 8:30 AM
(access to residents of Campbell Avenue)
 
Pearce Avenue
7:55 AM – 8:05 AM
 
Blackmarsh Road – Westbound Lane
Froude Avenue to Blackler Avenue
8:00 AM – 8:15 AM
 
Blackler Avenue – Northbound Lane
Blackmarsh Road to Mundy Pond Road
8:00 AM – 8:20 AM
 
Ropewalk Lane – Northbound Lane
Mundy Pond Road to Empire Avenue
8:10 AM – 8:30 AM
 
Empire Avenue – Eastbound Lane
Ropewalk Lane to Kingsbridge/Circular Roads
8:10 AM – 9:00 AM
 
Lake Avenue – Eastbound Lane
Kingsbridge Road – Clancey Drive
8:20 AM – 9:00 AM
 
Clancey Drive & Lakeview Avenue – Both Directions
7:00 AM – 9:30 AM
(Access to Lakeview for residents)
 
Motorists are advised to find an alternate route. Residents may be temporarily detained while race participants are passing.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your cooperation.
A detour will be in place and flagpersons and Race Marshalls will be present during the Race.
