Road Closures Throughout City

Due to high winds affecting the City of St. John’s there are several road closures in effect at this time:
Cathedral Street
Westerland Road
Long's Hill
Duckworth Street (Church Hill to Bates Hill)
Pennywell Road (Cashin Ave to Kitchener Ave)
Thorburn Road (at Larkhall Street)
Ennis Ave (McDonald Drive to O’Regan Road)
New Gower Street (Waldegrave Street to Queen Street)
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary have advised all residents to avoid all unnecessary travel as extreme winds have resulted in unsafe conditions. Treat all intersections and flashing signals as a four way stop.
