Route Closures / Lane Reductions for 10K and Half Marathon Road Race

Motorists are advised that the Uniformed Service 10K and Half Marathon Road Race will take place this Sunday, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. The route closures/lane reductions are as follows:
- Waterford Bridge Road - Eastrbound - Bay Bulls Road to Topsail Road/Water Street (7:30 am to 9:30 am)
- Southside Road - Westbound - Blackhead Road to Bay Bulls Road (7:45 am to 10:30 am)
- Bay Bulls Road (Bridge) (7:30 am to 10:30 am)
- Waterford Bridge Road - South curb - Park Road to Bay Bulls Road (7:30 am to 10:30 am)
- Water Street - South curb approaching Leslie Street intersection (7:45 am to 9:30 am)
- Leslie Street Bridge - West curb - Water Street to Southside Road (7:45 am to 9:30)
- Southside Road - Both curbs - Blackhead Road to Coast Guard Building (7:45 am to 10:00 am)
Motorists are advised to find an alternate route. Residents may be temporarily detained while race participants are passing. A detour will be in place and flagpersons and Race Marshalls will be present during the race.
