Traffic Disruption/Lane Closure - Heart & Stroke Ride

Motorists are advised that the Heart & Stroke Ride For Heart Cycling fun Ride will take place this Sunday starting at 7:00am and finishing by 12:00 pm.  The route closures/lane reductions are as follows:
ROAD CLOSURES & RESTRICTIONS
Motorists are advised that there will be a road closures on:
 
Southside Road
Both Directions: 7 am–11 am
 
Harbour Drive
Both Directions: 7 am–11 am
 
Temperance Street
both directions: 7 am–11am 

Water Street
Both Directions, Job’s Cove to Temperance:
7:00am–11:00am
 

To facilitate the Heart & Stroke Ride For Heart Cycling fun Ride.
Detours will be in place and flagpersons and Ride Marshalls will be present during the Ride. Cyclists will be following rules of the road on open portions of the course. This is not a race.

The 40KM route then doubles back to Bay Bulls Road/Southside Road for a turnaround area

60KM riders will continue up Blackhead Road to Cape Spear, turn around in parking lot and then head into Petty Harbour via Maddox Cove Road.
Continuing through Petty Harbour, onto Petty Harbour Road, then

returning to Bowring park via Park Road.
