Roads that have reopened:

  • Waterford Bridge Road from Cowan Avenue to Road De Luxe
  • Water Street eastbound lanes from Patrick Street to Hamilton Avenue
  • Job Street extension
  • Petty Harbour Road from Crocker’s Road to Forest Pond Road
  • Portugal Cove Road from Winter Avenue to Rennie's Mill Road
  • Bay Bulls Road between Lundrigan's Road and Old Bay Bulls Road
  • Kenmount Road
  • Southside Road from Blackhead Road East towards Fort Amherst
  • Donovan’s Road
  • Power's Road
  • George's Pond Road at Redmond's Road

Roads that remain closed, updates to follow:

  • Syme’s Bridge
  • Old Petty Harbour Road between Densmore's Lane and Cemetery Lane
  • Mooney Crescent

The following roads are closed due to flooding:

  • Waterford Bridge Road from Cowan Avenue to Road De Luxe. Local traffic can access St. Mary's school from Road De Luxe and the Waterford Hospital from Cowan Avenue.
  • Southside Road from Blackhead Road East towards Fort Amherst
  • Syme’s Bridge
  • Water Street eastbound lanes from Patrick Street to Hamilton Avenue. Traffic will detour up Patrick Street in the eastbound direction.
  • Job Street extension 
  • Power's Road
  • Bay Bulls Road between Lundrigan's Road and Old Bay Bulls Road
  • Old Petty Harbour Road between Mooney Crescent and 71 Old Petty Harbour Road
  • Portugal Cove Road from Winter Avenue to Rennie's Mill Road
  • Mooney Crescent
  • Petty Habour Road from Crocker's Road to Forest Pond Road. Local traffic only. 

Donovan's Road and Blackhead Road from Linegar Avenue to Blackhead Village Road are open but are experiencing areas of localized flooding and washouts.
 
The eastbound right lane of Kenmount Road and turning lane to Mount Carsen Avenue is closed due to excessive water buildup.
 
Please use extreme caution and use an alternate route if possible. Roads are expected to reopen when conditions improve. Updates to follow.
