The City of St. John's posts public advisories whenever we have an interruption in service to ensure the public is kept informed. Some of the categories of advisories include water, garbage, recreation, traffic and building closures. The view below lists advisories that are upcoming or currently on-going.

Residents are advised that there may be a disruption in water service on Monday, August 11, 2014 beginning at 9:00 am until approximately 6:00pm. The affected areas may include Kenmount Road, Mundy Pond, MUN and Kilbride. The noted areas may experience low water pressure.
Residents of St. John's are advised that watermain repairs are taking place on Larkhall Street and water has been shut off. Civic numbers 71 to 101 will be without water and hydrants in front of #67, #91 and #101 are out of order. Crews anticipate the work to be completed and the water turned...
To facilitate the installation of the new water transmission main on Mayor Avenue, water service to the following areas will be interrupted on Sunday, July 27 from 7:00 am to 1:45pm. It is to be noted that water service could be restored as early as 3:00 pm Sunday.
