The City of St. John's posts public advisories whenever we have an interruption in service to ensure the public is kept informed. Some of the categories of advisories include water, garbage, recreation, traffic and building closures. The view below lists advisories that are upcoming or currently on-going.

Bannerman Park and Bowring Park Splash Pads are both opened to the public today, Sunday, June 25, 2017, for the Summer Season. The splash pads operate daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Please be advised the Slides and Lazy River will not be open for the 4:30pm-5:20pm Everyone Welcome Swim at the Paul Reynold's Community Centre swimming pool on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.
Please be advised that the Community Clean Up scheduled for Saturday, May 27 from 10am-11:30am at Prince of Wales Collegiate is cancelled due to expected poor weather.
Clean up will be rescheduled for a later date.
Work continues on replacing playground equipment in Bowring Park, and we expect the playground to remain closed until Tuesday, June 6, 2017.
The affected areas is cordoned off with a fence barrier, and all other areas of the park will remain open.
...The Winter Activity Centre, including ski and snowshoe rentals in the North Bank Lodge, at C.A. Pippy Park is closing for the season at 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 due the rain forecasted for the weekend.

Please be advised that due to inclement weather The Parade of Lights at Bowring Park at 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. is cancelled. This event will not be rescheduled. Thanks to everyone who came to our events this weekend to celebrate ChillFest.
