The Loop in Bannerman Park will remain closed for the remainder of today, Saturday, January 30, 2016 due to standing water and ice conditions.

Unfortunately the MOVE IT Event which was scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled due to upcoming weather conditions. This event will be rescheduled for a later date.

Residents are advised that the Loop at Bannerman Park will have a further delayed opening today, Sunday, January 17, 2016 until 5:00pm. The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
...The Loop is open for public skating today, January 13, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., however please note that we will be cleaning the ice from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. There will be no skating permitted during this time.
...Please be advised that the after school programs at the following centres, Wedgewood Park, Airport Heights, Southlands , Kilbride and Shea Heights are cancelled today, Wednesday, January 13, 2016.
The Loop will re-open today, January 11, 2016 at 5 p.m., but please note that ice resurfacing is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. There is no skating permitted during this time.
...The Loop has been very busy again this weekend. As a result of it's popularity, ice thickness has decreased and as a result, The Loop will be closed for maintenance on Monday, January 11, 2016 until 5:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 12 there will be a FREE Fall Scavenger Hunt for Families at Bowring Park from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Unfortunately, due to wether conditions this event has been cancelled.
Residents are advised that H.G.R. Mews Community Centre pool, steam and sauna will be closed for regular maintenance on Sunday, August 30, and will re-open on Sunday, September 13, 2015. All other areas of the building will be open to the public.
