A rezoning application has been submitted for 350 Kenmount Road/9 Kiwanis Street, to bring an existing car dealership into conformance.
 
Description
The Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs has requested public consultation in relation to the proposed St. John’s Urban Region Regional Plan Amendment No. 9, 2020 to re-designate a portion of land at 350 Kenmount Road/9 Kiwanis Street from Public Open Space to Urban Development. A copy of the amendment is available upon request.

This proposed Regional Plan amendment would enable Council to amend the St. John’s Municipal Plan and Development Regulations to accommodate an existing car dealership. Council is considering rezoning the subject property from the Open Space (O) Zone to the Commercial Kenmount (CK) Zone. A Municipal Plan amendment is required.
