A Discretionary Use Application has been submitted by Newfoundland Power Inc. to construct two parallel transmission lines (Public Utility) in the area of 424 Airport Heights Drive.
 
Description
There are two transmission lines (66kV) proposed through the Watershed, which will connect the new substation at 424 Airport Heights Drive to the existing transmission line that currently runs from the Kenmount Substation to the Oxen Pond Substation. The transmission line extension is 4km long and both lines will run parallel to each other and follow Parker’s Pond Road along a 15m wide right-of-way and continue around the Department of National Defense training grounds.
