Application - Telecommunications Tower - 69 Elizabeth Avenue

A Discretionary Use application has been submitted to the City of St. John’s by Bell Mobility Inc. seeking approval of site design in relation to a telecommunications rooftop site at 69 Elizabeth Avenue on the Miranda Management building which is occupied by Newfoundland & Labrador Legal Aid Commission.

In accordance with the City of St. John’s Siting Protocol for Wireless Facilities, the City of St. John's hereby notifies residents in the vicinity of 69 Elizabeth Avenue of Bell’s intention to install an antenna system consisting of:

·  Antennas will be mounted to the West side of the building and on gravity mount to the East due to structural requirements and will be 1.37 meters in height.

Any person wishing to make a submission on this application must provide a signed written statement to the Office of the City Clerk by noon, Thursday, September 4, 2014, either by mail: P.O. Box 908, St. John’s, NL, A1C 5M2; fax: 709-576-8474 or email: cityclerk@stjohns.ca. Written submissions received will become a matter of public record and will be included in the agenda for the regular meeting of Council on Monday, September 8, 2014, at which time Council is scheduled to make a decision on this application.

In accordance with the City’s policy on public notification, properties within a radius of 150 metres of the application site are notified in writing by the City of this application. Notices are sent to property owners and not tenants. If you own but do not live at the property identified to receive this notice, we ask that you forward this notice to any tenants which you may have. Property ownership information is based on the City’s assessment roll.
