Downtown Snow Removal Operations

Motorists in the City of St. John's are advised that night-time snow removal and street widening operations have commenced in the designated 'Downtown' area on an as-required basis and will continue throughout the winter. Please call the Downtown Snow Removal Line (709) 576-SNOW ((709) 576-7669) daily after 3 p.m. for an updated list of streets scheduled for snow removal and/or widening operations overnight. This information is also available on the City's website or by e-mail subscription. All vehicles must be removed from the streets noted on the Downtown Snow Removal Line between 12:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.  Any vehicles impeding the operation will be ticketed or removed and impounded at the owner's expense.
