Environment & Sustainability Experts Panel - Call for Members

The Office of the City Clerk is accepting applications for volunteer membership on the Environmental and Sustainability Experts Panel. This Panel provides expertise, opinion, and perspective about environmental and sustainability matters, including the City of St. John’s energy intensity, greenhouse gas emissions, adaptation, resilience, and environment. Additionally, the Panel is responsible for assisting in the progress of environmental and sustainability matters in the City of St. John’s.

One representative with expertise in the following area is required:

  • Sustainable Urban Planning and Economic Growth – To support the City in attaining sustainable economic growth, prosperity and competitiveness while achieving its environmental and sustainability goals.

 Sought after expertise in these areas may include, but will not be limited to:

  • Engineer (e.g., civil, mechanical)
  • Contractor
  • Ecologist
  • Freshwater Biologist
  • Sociologist
  • Climatologist
  • Planner, MCIP
  • Landscape Architect
  • Arborist
  • Other – Demonstrated Relevant Experience
