Expression of Interest - Motorized Mobile Vending Park Space - Bannerman Road

The City of St. John’s is accepting applications from persons interested in operating a licensed motorized mobile vending unit for food and non-alcoholic refreshments only from a designated site on Bannerman Road in close proximity to the pool house.

The successful applicant will be chosen by random draw from the applications received and will have 5 days from the awarding of the space to enter into a lease with the City for the space ($1500 plus HST per annum).  Further, the successful applicant will be required to pay $1000 annually to cover the cost of the previously installed electrical service until paid in full.

In addition, the successful applicant will have to comply with the Mobile Vending By-Law and all other applicable legislation including the lease agreement. Should the successful applicant not complete all necessary arrangements with the City to the City’s satisfaction in the time allowed the City may offer the site to the next randomly chosen applicant.

Applications for this site will only be accepted on the designated application form which will be provided, upon request, from the contact referenced below.

Application forms must be received by the below contact no later than 3:00 PM, July 7, 2022.  Public draw for the space will be held immediately following the closing date referenced above at the Inspection Services Division of City Hall.
