NOTICE OF REGISTRATION
130 ABERDEEN AVENUE
 
Take notice that St. John’s Municipal Plan Amendment Number 2, 2022, and St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 3, 2022, adopted on June 13, 2022, and approved on September 6, 2022, have been registered by the Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs.
 
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Municipal Plan Amendment Number 2, 2022, is to redesignate land at 130 Aberdeen Avenue from the Commercial District to the Residential District and Open Space District, to allow a residential development.       
 
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 3, 2022, is to rezone land at 130 Aberdeen Avenue from Commercial Regional (CR) Zone to the Residential 3 (R3) Zone, Apartment 2 (A2) Zone and Open Space (O) Zone, to allow a mix of Single-Detached Dwellings, Semi-Detached Dwellings, Townhouses and Apartment Buildings. Further, Map 5 – Waterways and Flood Hazard Area in Appendix C has been updated to incorporate the floodplain and floodplain buffer adjacent to 130 Aberdeen Avenue.
