Notice of Registration - 150 New Gower Street

Take notice that St. John’s Municipal Plan Amendment Number 3, 2022, and
St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 4, 2022, adopted on February 28, 2022, and approved on May 30, 2022, have been registered by the Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs.
 
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Municipal Plan Amendment Number 3, 2022, is to redesignate land at 150 New Gower Street from the Residential District to the Commercial District, to allow a 13-storey hotel with commercial/retail uses and a 9-storey residential building.      
 
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 4, 2022, is to rezone land at 150 New Gower Street from the Residential Downtown (RD) Zone to the Commercial Downtown (CD) Zone, to allow a 13-storey hotel with commercial/retail uses and a 9-storey residential building.
