Public Meeting - Parking Lot Size
A public meeting will be held by the City of St. John’s to provide an opportunity for public review and comment on St. John's Development Regulations Amendment No. 613, 2015.
The St. John's Development Regulations set out parking requirements for each type of land use. Section 7.13.1 sets the maximum lot area for a parking lot at 0.5 hectare (approximately 1.2 acres). Council wishes to delete this size restriction, as in some cases a land use would require a parking lot larger than 0.5 hectare.

The Public Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, 7 p.m., Foran/Greene Room, fourth floor, City Hall. Any person wishing to make a submission on this application prior to the public meeting must provide a signed written statement to Office of the City Clerk either by mail: P.O. Box 908, St. John’s, NL, A1C 5M2; fax: 709-576-8474 or by email cityclerk@stjohns.ca. Written and verbal representations may also be submitted at the time of the public meeting. The public meeting will be chaired by a member of Council.
