Public Meeting - Road De Luxe

A public meeting will be held by the City of St. John’s to provide an opportunity for public review and comment on an application submitted on behalf of Anglican Homes Inc. to rezone civic number 24 and 28 Road De Luxe from Residential Low Density (R1) to Institutional (INST). The purpose of the rezoning is to allow for the future expansion to St. Luke’s Homes. Please note that civic number 24 Road De Luxe includes the original properties of civic number 20 and 26 Road De Luxe and civic number 243 Topsail Road.

This application may be viewed at the Department of Planning, Development and Engineering, third floor, St. John’s City Hall, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., phone (709) 576-8430, or e-mail: planning@stjohns.ca.

The Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, 7 p.m. in the Foran/Greene Room, fourth floor, City Hall. Any person wishing to make a submission on this application prior to the public meeting must provide a signed written statement to the City Clerk’s Department either by mail: P.O. The public meeting will be chaired by a member of Council.

In accordance with the City’s policy on public notification, properties within a radius of 150 metres of the application site are notified in writing by the City of this application. Notices are sent to property owners and not tenants. If you own, but do not live at the property identified to receive this notice, we ask that you forward this notice to any tenants you may have. Property ownership information is based on the City’s assessment roll.
