Text Amendment - Parking Lot Standards

Tue, 2017/01/31 - 12:00pm

The City of St. John’s is considering a text amendment to the St. John’s Development Regulations which set out parking requirements for each type of land use. Section 7.13.1 sets the maximum lot area for a parking lot at 0.5 hectare (approximately 1.2 acres). Council wishes to delete this size restriction, as in some cases a land use would require a parking lot larger than 0.5 hectare. This is the second notice,c as the amendment was previously advertised.

Information regarding this amendment may be viewed at the Department of Planning, Engineering, and Regulatory Services, fourth floor, St. John’s City Hall Annex. For further information, please phone 709-576-8220 or email planning@stjohns.ca.
