December 21, 2021 - The Loop at Bannerman Park opens today (Tuesday, Dec. 21) and remains open for the 2021-22 season daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. when conditions are favourable.
The Loop is closed for maintenance daily from 1 to 2 p.m. and Friday to Monday from 4 to 5 p.m.

December 20, 2021 - The City of St. John’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display will occur at 8 p.m. Friday, December 31 over Quidi Vidi Lake. It also will be airing on NTV at 12 a.m. on Saturday, January 1. Accessible parking for the fireworks is available at Dominion Memorial Market. In case of unsuitable weather for fireworks, they will be postponed to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 1.
