The City of St. John's posts public advisories whenever we have an interruption in service to ensure the public is kept informed. Some of the categories of advisories include water, garbage, recreation, traffic and building closures. The view below lists advisories that are upcoming or currently on-going.

Due to inclement weather, the St. John's Days Photography Workshop has been postponed from Saturday June 24 to Sunday June 25, 9am to 11am.
Start location remains the same - Bannerman Park Gazebo.

Motorists are advised that the Shoppers – Run for Women will take place this Sunday starting at 8:30am and finishing by 12:00pm. The route closures/lane reductions are as follows:

Residents of St. John's are advised that water is shut off on Spencer Street from Merrymeeting Road to Freshwater Road. This is to facilate water main repairs.
Crews are currently working on repairs and anticipate the work to be completed by 4p.m today, June 21, 2017.

Motorists are advised that due to road repairs, east and west bound lanes have been reduced to one lane. Please expect traffic delays. Crews expect work to be completed by Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 8 p.m.

This project is expected to last until the end of September. Traffic in each direction will remain open, however, there will be times when traffic will be reduced to one lane and motorists can expect delays as a result. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Motorists are advised that the Uniformed Service 10K and Half Marathon Road Race will take place this Sunday, from 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The route closures/lane reductions are as follows:
