April 14, 2016 - Street Cleaning removes dirt and debris from street and prevents damage to infrastructure. It occurs downtown from Monday, April 18 to September 23, 2016.
Street cleaning in the downtown area takes place early in the morning between midnight and 7 a.m. Vehicles must be removed from streets scheduled for cleaning or they will be ticketed.

March 23, 2016 - Based on a vote by City Council the St. Stephen the Martyr flag that was raised on Monday, March 21 has been taken down.
City staff are currently developing a policy to deal with protocol issues, including flag raising, at City Hall. The proposed policy will be vetted through the Corporate Policy Committee and presented to Council for approval in the near future.
