The City of St. John's posts public advisories whenever we have an interruption in service to ensure the public is kept informed. Some of the categories of advisories include water, garbage, recreation, traffic and building closures. The view below lists advisories that are upcoming or currently on-going.

To facilitate the installation of the water and sewer mains the following traffic restriction will be in effect:
...Motorists are advised there will be several short duration and sporadic lane closures to facilitate a number of exploratory digs for the upcoming 2021 Phase of the Kenmount Road Trunk Storm Sewer Upgrading. Signage will be in place and flag persons will be on site.
...Motorists are advised that Bishop's Cove will be closed to facilitate a concrete pour for 331 Water Street. There will be no access from Harbour Drive for the duration of the pour.
Flag persons will be on site and access will be granted to local businesses.
...Four parking spaces have been rented prohibiting public parking on the south side of Duckworth St between New Gower Street and Bates Hill to accomodate a film shoot.
Four parking spaces have been rented prohibiting public parking on the south side of New Gower St between Adelaide and Duckworth streets to accomodate a film shoot.
Heavy Tree Road between Ruby Line and Robert E Howlett Highway is closed due to flooding in the area and will only be accessible to local traffic.

Eight parking spaces have been rented prohibiting public parking on the north side of Duckworth St between Cochrane St and King's Rd to accomodate roofing construction at 165 Duckworth St.

Portugal Cove Road from Airport Heights Drive to Bennett's Road is closed due to a multi vehicle accident and whiteout conditions with heavy drifting.
RNC are on site and City crews are active in the area.
Six parking spaces have been rented prohibiting public parking on the north side of Duckworth St between King's Road and Cochrane Street to accomodate ongoing construction work in the area.
Hebron Way from Carolyn Drive to Major's Path is closed due to whiteout conditions and heavy drifting. Ruby Line is open however drivers are urged to proceed with caution in the area due to whiteout conditions and heavy drifting.
City Roads crews are active in all areas.

Waterford Bridge Road Westbound from Bay Bulls Road to Cowan Avenue will be closed due to a watermain break. All traffic will be detoured to Bay Bulls Road during this time.
