The City of St. John’s is extending its hours at the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility landfill for commercial users on Saturday, Jan. 4. The landfill typically operates on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, but will remain open until 4 p.m. to accommodate commercial users who have had garbage...
Delivery of the 2014 Garbage & Recycling Calendar booklets has been delayed. This is due to the recent stormy weather and that Canada Post cancelled or suspended mail delivery on some days. Canada Post has informed the City that the calendar booklets won't likely be finished...
Real Christmas trees may be dropped off for recycling (i.e. mulching) at one of two sites, details below. Please note that we no longer use the Bowring Park West parking lot nor the St. Pat’s Ball Park as tree drop-off sites; do not bring your used trees there.
...Garbage (area 5A and 5B) and recycling (area 5A) collection will begin at noon today.
Please ensure your garbage and recycling is at your curb as collection will begin immediately. Expect a delay from your regular collection time.
