...Residents and motorists are advised that Newfoundland Power will be doing work in the area of Battery Road from top of School House Hill towards Outer Battery and Fort Waldegrave.
This will be in effect Wednesday, October 5 from 9a.m. to 3p.m. and October 12 from 9a.m. to 1p.m.
...As part of the ongoing investigation work to evaluate trenchless technologies for Water Street infrastructure improvements, water flow tests are required on various hydrants along Water Street from Waldegrave Street to Prescott Street to confirm capacity of the existing water mains.
...Motorists and residents are advised there is ongoing sewer line repairs on Exeter Avenue. The road will be closed and only open to local traffic. Crews are expected to finish work by 11:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, October 5, 2016.

The H.G.R. Mews Community Centre pool will remain closed until Saturday, September 17th. On Saturday, the pool will be opened for recreational swims only. The pool will be opened for all swims and programs starting Sunday, September 18th.
