The City of St. John's posts public advisories whenever we have an interruption in service to ensure the public is kept informed. Some of the categories of advisories include water, garbage, recreation, traffic and building closures. The view below lists advisories that are upcoming or currently on-going.

Residents are advised that the HGR Mews Community Center is closed for maintenance this evening, Saturday May 23, 2015. Update at 6:30 am tomorrow morning Sunday May 24, 2015. Steam and sauna are open.
Residents are advised that there is a water main break on Prince Philip Drive at Allandale Road. Areas affected will include Allandale Road, Churchill Square, Merrrymeeting Road, Freshwater Road, Centre City, and surrounding areas.
...Motorists are advised that Prince Philip Drive from Allandale Road to Portugal Cove Road will be closed from 6:00 am Saturday, May 23, 2015 until 6:00 pm Sunday, May 24, 2015 to facilitate the water transmission main crossing at Prince Philip Drive. Motorists should use an alternate route.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised that both the Outer Battery Road and East Middle Battery Road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 to repair a water leak. Motorists should use an alternate route and expect delays.
