The City of St. John's posts public advisories whenever we have an interruption in service to ensure the public is kept informed. Some of the categories of advisories include water, garbage, recreation, traffic and building closures. The view below lists advisories that are upcoming or currently on-going.

Motorists are advised that there is a new 5 Ton Weight Restriction on Pearltown Road between Brookfield Road and Old Bay Bulls Road until further notice. Please use alternate route. The City of St. John's apologizes for any inconvenience.
...Motorists and pedestrians are advised that Pearltown Road will be closed today, February18, 2016 until 4 p.m. This is facilitate road repairs. Motorists should use an alternate route and expect delays.
...The Loop is closed for maintenance today, February 18, 2015. There will be no skating permitted during this time. An update will be provided tomorrow morning. The City of St. John's apologizes for any inconvenience.
...Residents are advised that the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre pool, steam and sauna will be closed for maintenance on Thursday, February 18, and will re-open on Friday, February 19. All other areas of the building will be open to the public. ...
The Loop in Bannerman Park will have a delayed opening until 12:00 p.m. noon today, Sunday, February 14, 2016 due to maintenance required after Saturday's snow storm.
